Project Based Vouchers are similar to Housing Choice Vouchers, but they are specific to certain housing units and the enrollment process is done by the property owners. Eligibility guidelines are mostly the same as with Housing Choice Vouchers, except for properties whose vouchers are for specific demographics. Grinnell Area Housing
A collection of affordable housing projects managed by Rightway Management. Properties under the umbrella with project vouchers available are Brookside East, Brookside West, Brookside South, Monropark, Pearl St Apartments, and Poynter Apartments. Monropark offers assistance specifically for individuals 62 years or older with disabilities. Pearl St and Poynter Apartments offer assistance specifically for those with mental disabilities and/or receiving psychiatric care.
